GIZ EXPO 2024

Pictorial highlights from the GIZ,German International Cooperation EXPO EnACT project, a national gathering held at the Mulungushi Conference Center in Lusaka on of 13th November 2024. This event united partners from all across Zambia to showcase impactful initiatives. This program is with financial support from German corporation and co-funded by the European Union in Zambia.

We were honored by the presence of Minister of Justice, Honourable Princess Kasune, M.P, the Head of Cooperation, Bernhard Trauter-Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany and also Bogdan Stefanescu- Team leader social sectors & governance- Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Zambia. who visited our booth and learned about our project’s achievements.

Many thanks to our very own Senior Chief Musokotwane Eason Musokotwane for accompanying us and standing firmly as a Champion in the fight against corruption. and ensure the responsible use of public resources, especially school grants.

The traditional art in the picture symbolizes government transparency demonstrating the flow of revenue and taxes from citizens to the government and back in the form of markets, roads, CDF, health facilities and more. This was a key visual tool to engage and educate local leaders on financial management.

Special thanks to our partners ACC, District Education Board Secretary Kazungula, Chief Mukuni, Chief Musokotwane, headmen/women, youths, ward development committees and all the councilors who have helped make this project a success.

Together, we are paving the way for accountable governance in Zambia.
