Capacity Building By GIZ Advisor -Zengeni Simuchembu.

Our organization ,The Healing Balm Foundation has had a privilege of having it’s capacity built in transparency and accountability in the use of public resources by our GIZ Advisor, Zengeni Simuchembu. Since that intensive and thought-provoking training,our organization is no longer the same in matters of public resources accountability.

With our capacity being built,we have been able to train a total of 121 senior Traditional Leaders in both Chief Mukuni and Chief Musokotwane chiefdoms.

We are proud to safely say,our traditional leaders have the fire ignited in demanding for transparency and accountability under the project called, ‘Building Cultural Accountability Mechanism ‘.

Here at Siakasipa ,our traditional leaders are spearheading discussions on the utilisation of school grants using social accountability tools such a as the community score card and budget tracking.

This helps to increase accountability of public resources and fosters a spirit of following financial guidelines on its utilization as well as community engagement.
