A Blanket of Hope
A heartfelt thank you to the Zambia Agency for Persons with Disabilities Livingstone office, spearheaded by Ganizo Phiri, for their generous donation of blankets. These timely gifts will provide much-needed warmth to our children during the chilly nights, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
Wheels of Joy
Luyando’s story is a testament to the transformative power of compassion. Thanks to Getrude Mayuya and the BFF Network Zambia, Luyando received a brand new wheelchair, replacing the limitations with the freedom of mobility. Witnessing the joy on Luyando’s face and the relief in her grandmother’s eyes was a moment we will cherish. This incredible gift, along with diapers and food items, demonstrates that together, we can make a significant difference in the lives of these special children.
Sharing the Blessings
The BFF Network Zambia’s generosity extended beyond Luyando. We were privileged to receive a donation of seven bags of breakfast cereal, which we shared with both our children with disabilities and other marginalized families. This act of kindness not only provided much-needed sustenance but also served as a reminder that we are all part of a larger community, bound by compassion and a shared desire to uplift those in need.
